Garifuna Settlement Day Group

The Garifuna Settlement Day Group is a non-profit tax exempt organization that has existed in California from the early sixties.  

We are an indigenous people that originated in St. vincent, ,one of the Leeward Islands of the West Indies.

Our goal is to expose our world to other people. This includes our dances, music and folklore.

What We Do

We are mainly an educational center.  We educate our people and others who may be interested in our culture.  We do celebrate our ancestral exodus from St. Vincent, every year around the 19th November.
